ALS, one page, 5.25 x 6.5, February 8, 1890. Hayes politely declines a banquet invitation. In full, “I regret that circumstances present me from attending the Banquet of the Ohio Society on the 19th.” Double matted and framed with a portrait of Hayes to an overall size of 16.25 x 11.25. In fine condition, with a uniform shade of light toning.
